I have been in the field of education for 28 years. I taught a self contained sixth grade class for several years before being placed in a math classroom. I taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade math in addition to teaching Algebra 1. During this time, I was assigned to teach Gifted and Talented as well. I always tried to create activities that would enrich student understanding while drawing them into the learning process. Now as a principal, I oversee curriculum for all my students and will from time to time create some activity that I feel students will enjoy.
