Item Details

Grades: PK, K
Type: PDF

Great for students with autism to get them reading and learning basic skills. The skills focused on in these two books are colors, numbers, and positional words.

Directions: Print cards on cardstock and laminate. Cut pages in half for a mini book. Put velcro in the square on each page and behind the each of the picture cards. Put the book together with a ring or in a binder. You can use the chart on p. 10 to attach the pictures while the kids read the story. Students will read the sentence, choose the card, and put in the square.

For Positional Word Book place three pieces of velcro on the page (one in the correct place) for students to choose where to place the monsters.
